Pursuant to the Declaration of Public Health Emergency adopted by the Board of Health for Nashville and Davidson County on March 15, 2020

Whereas, on April 16, 2021, the Interim Chief Medical Director issued Order 14, Modified Phase Four Reopening, pursuant to the Declaration of Public Health Emergency adopted by the Board of Health for Nashville and Davidson County on March 15, 2020; and
Whereas, action remains necessary to protect the public health of the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County from the spread of COVID-19, while continuing to allow Nashville and Davidson County to reopen.
Now Therefore, Dr. Gill C. Wright, Interim Chief Medical Director of Health directs and orders the following:
- Order 14 is hereby amended by deleting in its entirety the last paragraph in Section 7, and substituting instead the following:
Events at indoor venues or spaces may operate at up to 40% of occupancy based on Tennessee’s Building and Fire Code, subject to advance written approval of site plan and protocols by the Metropolitan Health Department.
- Except as amended by this Amendment, all terms and conditions set forth in Order 14 shall remain in full force and effect.
Amendment 1 of Order 14 from the Interim Chief Medical Director is hereby issued and effective at 12:00 a.m. CDT on May 7, 2021 and shall remain in effect until it is rescinded, superseded, or amended.
