Metro FMLA Policy - Handbook, Forms and Frequently Asked Questions

Dealing with the health, financial and family issues that go hand in hand with the need to take Family and Medical Leave can be challenging. In addition, returning to work following leave can be stressful. For assistance concerning such personal matters that are outside of the procedures of applying for FMLA leave, Metro offers the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for free, confidential, one-to-one support at any time before, during, or after your use of leave. The EAP can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you manage the issues at hand and prepare for a successful return to the workplace. Call 1-866-563-8762 to speak with a counselor. For all issues relating to the procedures of applying for FMLA leave, and regarding the actual use of FMLA leave, please contact your department’s HR Department Representative for assistance.
