ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-853

An ordinance approving and accepting a contribution in the amount of $40,000 from Lenox Village for purposes of traffic infrastructure improvements at Holt Road.

Whereas, Lenox Village has constructed a residential and commercial development in the area of Holt Road; and,

Whereas, said development increased the need of the Metropolitan Government for certain traffic infrastructure improvements at Holt Road; and,

Whereas, in acknowledgement of the foregoing, Lenox Village has offered $40,000 to the Metropolitan Government to be used for said infrastructure improvements.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contribution of $40,000 from Lenox Village is hereby approved and accepted, and shall be deposited in a fund designated by the Director of Finance.

Section 2. That the Department of Public Works shall use these funds for the purposes of traffic infrastructure improvements at Holt Road.

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
