A resolution appropriating $90,300 for the Metropolitan Board of Health pursuant to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Health for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.

WHEREAS, the Tennessee Department of Health has awarded funds pursuant to a grant to the Metropolitan Board of Health for the women, infants, and children program.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That funds received pursuant to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Health for the women, infants, and children program, as attached hereto and incorporated herein, in an amount not to exceed $90,300, are hereby appropriated to the Metropolitan Board of Health.

Section 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
