Residential Trash Collection Services
As part of the Metropolitan Government’s Waste Management Plan, adopted by the Metro Council in 2002, the Department of Public Works has implemented a new residential trash collection program for residents of the Urban Services District. This new program will provide automated trash carts to all households in the USD, resulting in more efficient service, a safer work environment for sanitation employees, and cleaner streets and neighborhoods throughout Metro.
