Business Recycling
More than half of Nashville's waste comes from business and industry, so business recycling clearly helps save Metro dollars and landfill space. An environmentally friendly organization also projects a good public image and sets a good example for its employees. But did you know that eliminating wasteful habits, reusing supplies and recycling your waste can cut down on your business costs too?

Many businesses have at least some garbage disposal costs that are easily
avoided. To find out if yours is one of them, just download our Do
it Yourself Waste Assessment or request
recycling information. You can also call 862-8620 for more information.
Whatever your company throws away, there's a good chance a local organization can use some of your waste materials, and many will pick them up for free. View our list of service companies to find out who wants your business recyclables. If cardboard is part of your waste, you could benefit from the downtown cardboard recycling program.
The University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services offers a free listing service to assist businesses in recycling industrial type products. Businesses can list materials they need or materials they have available.
Listings are updated monthly and can be accessed at the
Tennessee Materials Exchange.
