PROJECT NAME: Water Main Replacement in the Downtown Area
LOCATION:Broadway from 1st Ave – 13th Ave
PROJECT: Replacement of aging water mains
- Project 1- Broadway from 1st to 2nd and 2nd Ave. North from Broadway to Union - COMPLETE
- Project 2 - 2nd Ave. South from Broadway to Molloy - COMPLETE
- Project 3 - Broadway from 2nd to 6th Ave - COMPLETE
- Project 4 - Broadway from 6th to 10th Ave and 8th Ave. S. from Broadway to Clark - COMPLETE
Broadway will be paved from 5th to 10th Wednesday (7/20) and Thursday (7/21) night between 7 pm – 6 am.
Striping will be done during the day on Thursday (7/21) and Friday (7/22) between 9 am – 3 pm.
Broadway will remain open but traffic will be limited to one or two lanes each way. Lane reductions will be clearly marked and police officers will be on site.
All of the meters along this section of Broadway will be bagged “No Parking” during this work.
