Three Teens Charged with Aggravated Robbery/Shooting

Investigation by Midtown Hills Precinct detectives led to Thursday’s arrest of three teens wanted for the April 18 robbery/shooting of a 14-year-old victim and the recovery of three firearms, one stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Detectives observed one of the suspects, a 13-year-old male, enter a silver Nissan Altima. During an investigative stop of the car, the teen was taken into custody. Also in the vehicle was the second suspect, Michael Ferrell, 19. Recovered from the Nissan were the three guns, 40 rounds of ammunition, four ounces of marijuana, prescription medication, and digital scales. The third suspect, age 16, was taken into custody at his residence Thursday night.
At the time of Ferrell’s arrest, he was free on $100,000 bond for the June 2019 kidnapping/robbery of an East Nashville woman. He is charged with aggravated robbery, theft of a firearm, felony drug possession, and gun possession during the commission of a felony. He is now being held in lieu of $122,000 bond.
The 16 and 13-year-olds are charged with aggravated robbery in Juvenile Court.
