Detectives Working to Identify Burglary Suspect

East Precinct detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a burglary suspect who entered a Russell Street condo and took the victim’s laptop and wallet.  
The victim was asleep at the time of the overnight March 21st break-in.  She awoke to discover her belongings, which she had placed on the kitchen counter, were missing.  The suspect gained entry through an unlocked side door.  The victim’s credit card was used on the morning of March 22nd at Wal-Mart at 7044 Charlotte Pike.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the attached Wal-Mart surveillance video is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.  Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone or text message can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of $1,000 in this case.
