Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 111 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 111 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 28 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street and Brevard Court. Seized were 15 grams of marijuana, 25.7 grams of cocaine, 25 pills, four grams of methamphetamine and four guns.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Bell Road, Couchville Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Lebanon Pike, Lafayette Street, Patricia Drive, Central Valley Drive, Glen Cove Trail, and Glenn Court. Seized were 19 marijuana plants, 48 grams of marijuana, five various pills, .7 grams of cocaine, one vehicle, two guns and $752 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Avenue, Edgehill Avenue, White Bridge Road, and Wedgewood Avenue. Seized were ten grams of marijuana, one gram of heroin and one gram of cocaine.
North Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Robertson Avenue, Garfield Street, and St. Louis Street. Seized were 26 grams of marijuana and one gram of cocaine.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Sarver Avenue, and Myatt Drive. Seized were 20 grams of marijuana, 15 pills, 2.5 grams of cocaine, one gram of heroin, one vehicle and $82 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Sylvan Street, Woodland Street, South 11th Street, and North 2nd Street. Seized were 63 grams of marijuana, 3.1 grams of cocaine and 22 oxycodone pills.
Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Garfield Street, North 1st Street, Jefferson Street, and Drexel Street. Seized were 31 grams of marijuana, 8.3 grams of marijuana and $164 cash.
