Hermitage Precinct Detectives Dismantle Marijuana Grow Operation on Glenn Court

Acting on a citizen’s complaint, Hermitage Precinct undercover officers on Thursday night dismantled a marijuana grow operation at 728 Glenn Court.

Seized during the raid were 26 marijuana plants, electronic scales, 40 grams of marijuana buds, lamps, other grow equipment, a loaded revolver and $296 cash.

The homeowner, John Calvin Roland, 50, is charged with manufacturing marijuana in a drug free school zone, possession of marijuana for resale in a drug free school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony.  Roland lives a short distance from Glengarry Elementary School.

Roland is free after posting a $19,000 bond.  He’s due in court on May 30th.
