Dollar General Robbery Suspect Sought

East Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man who Monday afternoon robbed the Dollar General at 1118 Dickerson Pike.
The suspect entered the store at 2:30 p.m. armed with a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.  The clerk complied.  He fled on foot dropping a BB pistol and hooded sweatshirt that he wore during the robbery in the 1100 block of Joseph Avenue.
The robber, who wore an orange watch, is a black man in his mid-30s.  He is approximately 5’5” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
