Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 119 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 119 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Brookridge Trail, Harding Place, and Country Drive. Seized were 10.47 ounces of marijuana, one pill and one gram of methamphetamine.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations on Rockwood Drive, Thompson Place, Central Pike, and Elm Hill Pike. Seized were more than ten pounds of marijuana, nine pills, one gram of cocaine and five weapons.
West Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, Basswood Avenue, and Robertson Avenue. Seized were 4.6 grams of cocaine, 25.6 grams of marijuana, 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, three Lortab pills, one Xanax pill and one vehicle.
North Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Heiman Street, Jefferson Street, Trinity Lane, 17th Avenue North, Blank Street, and Scovel Street. Seized were 30.2 grams of marijuana.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Shepherd Hills Drive, Myatt Drive, and Emmett Avenue. Seized were 25 pounds of marijuana, three ounces of hashish and $600 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 23 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, North 2nd and 6th Streets, Dickerson Pike, and Trinity Lane. Seized were 69 grams of marijuana, .6 grams of cocaine, 19 Lortab pills, 212 oxycodone pills, 88 Soma pills, 30 Xanax pills, two handguns and $781 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, North 1st Street, Jefferson Street, and Tru Long Court. Seized were 3.25 pounds of marijuana, 10.19 ounces of cocaine, 101 various pills, three weapons, four vehicles and $17,405 cash.
