May 13, 2013
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Acting on information derived from a child porn investigation in Connecticut, Sex Crimes Detective Rob Carrigan this afternoon charged Marvin Peek, 54, with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor after a large number of pornographic videos depicting young girls were found on his laptop computer.
During an interview at his 3868 Central Pike apartment, Peek admitted to regularly sending and receiving sexually graphic videos and images of minor children. Detectives have received information that Peek this year was a coach in the 14-year-old division of a girls’ softball league in Donelson. Police have made contact with league representatives to inform them of Peek’s arrest. There is no indication that any of the softball players were connected to Peek’s alleged illegal activities.
A judicial commissioner set Peek’s bond at $15,000.
