Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 124 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 124 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Call Hill Road and Benzing Road. Seized were 34.95 ounces of marijuana, 1.5 grams of cocaine, 25 pills and four weapons.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 23 persons as the result of investigations on Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Bell Road, Rockwood Drive, Central Pike, University Court, and Lebanon Pike. Seized were 11.64 ounces of marijuana, ten grams of cocaine, 485 various pills, one vehicle, five weapons and $4,915 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Pennsylvania Avenue, Haselton Road, Nevada Avenue, and White Bridge Pike. Seized were 4.5 grams of cocaine, 3.2 grams of marijuana, 31 prescription pills, 118 Xanax pills and one handgun.
North Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Kings Lane, Wheless Avenue, Rosa Parks Boulevard, Jefferson Street, 26th Avenue North, and Buena Vista Pike. Seized were 37.3 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine, two pills and $308 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Myatt Drive, and Rivergate Parkway. Seized were 120 grams of marijuana, 15 prescription pills and two grams of cocaine.
East Precinct detectives charged 23 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, North 6th Street, Dickerson Pike, and Marie Street. Seized were 3.56 ounces of marijuana, two Percocet pills, two Lortab pills, 11.6 grams of cocaine, two vehicles and $2,100 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Drexel Street, North 1st Street, Jefferson Street, and Garfield Street. Seized were 47 grams of marijuana and four prescription pills.
