Detectives Hopeful that Convicted Felon's Arrest on Federal Firearms Charge will Advance Homicide Investigations in Nashville & Clarksville
July 9, 2013
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A Clarksville convicted felon now in custody on a federal firearms charge is thought by detectives in Nashville and Montgomery County to have knowledge regarding three murder cases.
Police are hoping to advance the homicide investigations now that Brandon Hardison, 27, a known gang member, is in custody. The victims in those cases were Joshua Henry of Clarksville, a convicted burglar and fugitive, who was found shot to death in Madison on April 30, 2013, and Derrick Sherden and Amanda Weyland, who were shot to death in Clarksville on January 6, 2012.
Anyone in the Middle Tennessee area with information on Hardison and/or the homicide cases is urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME, or Clarksville Police at 931-645-TIPS.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives is handling the federal gun investigation that led to Hardison’s arrest late last month.
