Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 95 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 95 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 7 persons as the result of investigations on Antioch Pike at Richards Road, Bell Road at Hickory Hollow Terrace, and Murfreesboro Pike at Plus Park Boulevard. Seized were approximately 31 grams of marijuana, 1.6 grams of cocaine, one gun and one vehicle.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 24 persons as the result of investigations on
Bell Road, Old Lebanon Pike, Anderson Road, Forrest View Drive, Lewis Street, Cannon Street, Claiborne Street, and Lafayette Street. Seized were 4.2 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of marijuana, eight morphine pills, 25 hydrocodone pills, 59 oxymorphone pills, 92 Alprazolam pills and $315 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Georgia Avenue, Jefferson Street, and Centennial Avenue. Seized were 141 pills and a small amount of marijuana.
North Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, 17th Avenue North, West Trinity Lane, Heiman Street, and Buchanan Street. Seized were 12.8 grams of cocaine, 1.4 grams of marijuana and $494 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Berkley Drive. Seized were 30 grams of marijuana, seven grams of cocaine and 20 pills.
East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Dickerson Pike, and Old Hickory Boulevard. Seized were five grams of marijuana, .4 grams of cocaine, 42 oxycodone pills, 4.5 Lortab pills, one vehicle and $250 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Jefferson Street, Cheatham Place, and 6th Avenue North. Seized were one gram of marijuana, 2.4 grams of cocaine and $100 cash.
