Enrollment Now Open for Teenage Driving Classes Taught by MNPD Officers

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently taking applications for the FREE Teenage Driver Awareness Class for young persons between the ages of 14-18 scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.  This popular course will be held at the Metro Southeast Complex, 1417 Murfreesboro Pike (behind Genesco headquarters).
          
The class, taught by Nashville police officers, will not offer behind the wheel training, but rather will focus on impaired driving, distracted driving and overall traffic safety.
          
Parents interested in signing up their teens for this program should contact Sergeant Robert Sheffield via email (Robert.Sheffield@nashville.gov) and provide the following information:

Enrollment in the class is limited.  Parents are also welcome to sign up their teens for a Saturday, October 26th class.
