Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 110 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 110 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Apache Trail, the 900 block of Murfreesboro Pike, Blue Hole Road at Bell Road, Chestnut Avenue at 2nd Avenue South, and Murfreesboro Pike. Seized were approximately five pounds of marijuana, 2.5 grams of cocaine, two pills, one gun and $468 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 27 persons as the result of investigations on Old Hickory Boulevard, Murfreesboro Pike, British Woods Way, Central Pike, and Bell Road. Seized were more than two pounds of marijuana, .5 grams of cocaine, one vehicle and $424 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on River Road, Cabot Drive, Delaware Avenue, and Premier Drive. Seized were 134 pills, 83 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine and $150 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Rowan Court, 27th Avenue North, Old Hickory Boulevard, Whites Creek Pike, and Trinity Lane. Seized were seven pounds of marijuana, .4 grams of heroin, five hydrocodone pills, 6.2 grams of cocaine and one handgun.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were 30 grams of marijuana, 3.5 grams of cocaine, .5 grams of heroin, 26 hydrocodone pills and five Xanax pills.
East Precinct detectives charged 23 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, North 2nd Street, and Davidson Street. Seized were 1.7 grams of cocaine
33 grams of marijuana, eight Dilaudid pills, five oxycodone pills, two Lortab pills, two vehicles and $262 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on North 1st Street, 4th Avenue North at Monroe Street, and Hope Garden. Seized were one Opana pill, two oxycodone pills and ten grams of marijuana.
