DCSO Congratulates TSU President Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover
Thomas Hunter writes:
Sheriff Daron Hall and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover on becoming Tennessee State University’s eighth president as well as Tennessee State University’s first female president. The DCSO recognizes this accomplishment and its tremendous impact on the community, having served under the leadership of the first female Sheriff of Davidson County, Gayle Ray, from 1994-2002. Education is also a key at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office in arresting the problem of recidivism within our jails. It remains our goal to work with Tennessee State University in developing opportunities to pull from a more educated pool of graduates in criminal justice, business, and other fields of study. We have over 30 employees who are alumni from TSU, and look forward to continuing as well as expanding our relationship with Tennessee State University.
