Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 102 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 102 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on 3rd Avenue South at Cameron Street, Nolensville Pike at Brewer Drive, Bakertown Road, Harding Place at Danby Drive, Bell Road at Blue Hole Road, and Hickory Hollow Parkway at Hickory Hollow Lane. Seized were approximately 24 grams of marijuana, 28.1 grams of cocaine, four pills, and $1,000 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 29 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Elm Hill Pike, Goodbar Drive, Thompson Place, Bell Road, and Nashboro Boulevard. Seized were 28.67 ounces of marijuana, five grams of cocaine, 189 grams of heroin, two handguns, two vehicles and $600 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Church Street, Elkins Avenue, Charlotte Pike, and Georgia Avenue. Seized were 107 pills, 34.46 ounces of marijuana, three grams of cocaine and one vehicle.
North Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Cocoa Drive, Hummingbird Drive, Buena Vista Pike, and 22nd Avenue North. Seized were 1.5 grams of marijuana, 4.3 grams of heroin, 27.9 grams of cocaine, one semi-automatic rifle and $134 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were one pound of marijuana, 1.5 grams of cocaine, 21 hydrocodone pills, three Xanax pills and .5 grams heroin.
East Precinct detectives charged 8 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Cooper Terrace, and Chapman Drive. Seized were 5.3 grams of cocaine, 17 grams of marijuana and $562 in items seized.
Central Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Jefferson Street, 2nd Avenue North, 3rd Avenue South, and Snow Avenue. Seized were 15 grams of cocaine, 120 prescription pills and $1, 091 cash.
