Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 102 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 102 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Crenshaw Street, Lewis Street, Wedgewood Avenue, Richards Road, Linbar Drive, Wallace Road, Blue Hole Road, Jonquil Drive, Eisenhower Drive, and Fesslers Lane. Seized were approximately five grams of marijuana and 3.5 grams of cocaine.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 22 persons as the result of investigations on Elm Hill Pike, Country Woods Circle, Calais Circle, Hobson Pike, Murfreesboro Pike, Lafayette Street, Bell Road, Blackwood Drive, Donelson Pike, Central Pike, Hamilton Church Road, Venus Drive, and Lewis Street. Seized were 34 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine, six Opana Pills and one gun.
West Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Annex Avenue, Basswood Avenue, Patterson Street, and 12th Avenue South. Seized were 71 grams of marijuana, 191 pills, 2.1 grams of cocaine, one vehicle and $675 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Old Buena Vista Pike, John A. Merritt Boulevard, Jefferson Street, and Trinity Lane. Seized were 37.5 grams of marijuana, six marijuana plants, less than one half gram of MDMA and four guns.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Myatt Drive, Briley Parkway, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were five grams of heroin, one ounce of marijuana, .5 grams of cocaine and two guns.
East Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Gallatin Pike, Jones Avenue, and Cahal Avenue. Seized were 104 grams of marijuana 6.2 grams of cocaine, one vehicle, one gun and $1,657 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on 2nd Avenue North, 6th Avenue North, and Jefferson Street. Seized were 14 grams of marijuana and 1.5 grams of cocaine.
