In accordance with Metro Code of Laws Chapter 2.222 and Executive Order No. 5 (Mayor Barry, 2016), certain elected officials and Metropolitan employees are required to file financial disclosure(s) with the Metropolitan Clerk’s Office no later than January 31 of each year for the preceding calendar year ending December 31.
The statement(s) must be personally signed and attested under penalty of perjury, and the purpose of the disclosure(s) is to alleviate reasonable concerns of the public concerning possible conflicts and influences upon the employee’s or official’s exercise of his or her discretion. In situations involving ambiguity as to the application of the requested information to the facts of an employee's situation, the disclosure statement should be completed in all material respects, reasonably consistent with this intent.
Each employee shall amend his or her current disclosure statement(s) within thirty days of the occurrence of any material change to the disclosure(s).
