Assessor of Property Vivian Wilhoite announced property owners, at the end of today, began experiencing delays in filing their online Informal Review. The deadline to file an Informal Review was today, Friday, May 21, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
“We apologize that property owners filing an Informal Review experienced difficulty in filing online," Assessor Wilhoite said. "When contacted, our amazing Call Center staff appraisers assisted the property owners in filing their Informal Review by taking their information by phone and entering it manually until the difficulty is fixed.”
“Property owners have not lost their right to appeal," Assessor Wilhoite added. "Beginning Monday, May 24 2021 until June 25, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., a property owner may schedule a Formal Appeal to the independent Metropolitan Board of Equalization, with the option of an in-person hearing or a hearing by telephone."
