The Parklet Program Manual is an overview of the goals, specifications and guidelines for creating a parklet in Nashville and Davidson County. Applicants and designers in Nashville and Davidson County are strongly encouraged to read this Manual in its entirety when they are first thinking about proposing a parklet and utilize it as a reference as you may be selected to continue through the process of providing a parklet for the City of Nashville.
Understanding what the program is trying to achieve and the permit process for a successful parklet may reduce the time it takes to receive a permit.
The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) values and appreciates your willingness to devote your time, creativity, and resources to creating a parklet in your neighborhood. We look forward to collaborating with you on your parklet.
All Parklet applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
