Billing Deferment and Late Fees
The Nashville District Energy System (NDES) is committed to serving its customers with needed chilled water, steam and hot water services through this time of COVID-19 related challenges. As such, NDES will not assess late fees or disconnect services to our customers through the end of July, 2020.
Customers facing financial hardship during these trying times will be allowed to defer 75% of their bills for a two month period by calling Dan Coyle, at 615-264-2611 or by emailing him at [email protected].
To receive consideration for deferral, customers must document financial hardship by showing at least 25% reduction in revenue over the previous month period. Account balances that are deferred will be evenly spread out over a 12-month period.
