Children’s Memory Garden of Nashville Committee

The Committee was established by Mayor Freddie O'Connell Executive Order Number 027. The purpose of the Committee will be to establish policies and guidelines for remembering children and to support the Children's Memorial Garden (CMG).

The Committee consists of up to fifteen (15) but not less than ten (10) members appointed by the Mayor.

It is the Committee's mission to:

1. Oversight of the Garden and approval of physical or policy changes.
2. Maintain and update Memorialization composition guidelines and requirements.
3. Final determination of those memorialized.
4. Publication of CMGN actions and events, in cooperation with appropriate Metropolitan Government departments.
