Davidson County homeowners have the opportunity to apply for the Tax Relief and Tax Freeze programs on Saturday, March 29 in Hermitage. Metropolitan Trustee Erica S. Gilmore, is hosting this community event, with the help of District 14 Councilmember Jordan Huffman, as final chance for Hermitage-area residents to sign-up before the program windows close on April 5, 2025.
What is Tax Relief? It's a program that helps lower one's property tax bill.
What does the Tax Freeze do? It prevents property taxes from rising over the years.
Event availability is limited. Those wishing to attend must register through nashville.gov/trustee or by calling the Trustee's Office at 615-862-6330 to secure a spot. Residents may also apply for the Tax Relief and Tax Freeze programs at the Office of the Metropolitan Trustee Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees must bring all required documentation listed on nashville.gov/trustee to successfully apply.
