Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s Choose How You Move transportation improvement program focuses on four key areas: sidewalks, signals, service, and safety. It improves safety on Nashville's streets for everyone, offers public transportation 24/7/365 for the first time in the city's history, upgrades 2/3 of the city’s intersections to smart signals, so Nashvillians spend less time at red lights, and it completes the WalkNBike Nashville priority sidewalk network when combined with annual capital spending.
