Community Partnership Fund Information
The Metropolitan Government has historically partnered with organizations that advance the mission, expand the reach, or enhance / replace services otherwise provided by Metro departments. To ensure fairness, equitable access and transparency, this process is moving to a HUB based application.
For Organizations with Existing Relationships with Metro Departments
We are grateful for partnerships that have advanced the Metropolitan Government mission, and we look forward to continuing these. Please follow the process below for communicating your proposal with the Metro department that you’d be partnering with for service enhancement:
Community Partnership and Service Enhancement Application
For Organizations That Have Not Worked with Metro Before
We are continuing to seek public-private partnerships including with non-profits, focusing on those organizations that will help Metro departments advance the mission, expand their reach, and enhance or replace services.
For those partnerships that fulfill the requirements, the funding will occur through the specific department’s operating budget requests; following the same vetting process as all other investment requests presented by Metro departments.
Requirements:
- The proposed partnership advances the mission, expands the reach, or enhances / replaces services otherwise provided by the department(s).
- Presents a Performance improvement justification that includes measurable evidence of the impact and outcomes resulting from this partnership.
- Presents an Equity justification that clearly states how this partnership advances Metro’s equitable search for investments that strengthen community aspects of safety, opportunity, and social and economic security.
We welcome organizations to follow the process below, to take the first step and contact the department they are seeking to collaborate with and communicate their proposal for partnering at their earliest convenience.
