Pearl Amanfu
Pearl Amanfu is the first-ever Digital Inclusion Officer for Metro Nashville and Davidson County, developing strategies and programs to ensure that all residents have equitable access to the benefits of technology. Pearl uses a community-centered approach to work with local non-governmental organizations to maximize impact through collaboration.
Prior to taking on this role, she led the development and execution of Metro Nashville’s first comprehensive digital equity study, conducted through the work of the Digital Inclusion and Access Taskforce. Successfully executed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the study was nominated for Digital Inclusion Initiative of the Year by Nashville Technology Council in 2021. In 2022, Pearl was nominated for Digital Inclusion Advocate of the Year by Nashville Technology Council. An alumna of Metro Nashville Public Schools, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and is pursuing Master of Education degree in Community Development and Action at Vanderbilt University.
