Join Mayor Freddie O’Connell for a day of family fun and civic celebration starting with a prayer breakfast, then the inauguration ceremony. The inaugural ceremonies for Mayor Freddie O'Connell, Vice Mayor Angie Henderson, and Members of the Metropolitan Council will celebrate the diversity and culture of Nashville, include multimodal "Transit Treks," a family friendly festival with food trucks, performances, kids activities, and an opportunity to meet Mayor O'Connell.
The inauguration ceremony will feature performances by First Female Winner of The Voice, Grammy-Nominated, Platinum Selling Artist Cassadee Pope, and Emmy Winning Singer-Songwriter and Third Generation Nashvillian Morgxn.
The One City, Many Faiths prayer breakfast is an invitation only event (open to media); the Festival of City Services and inauguration ceremony are all open to the public, and we invite Nashville to come together and celebrate this special day.

This fun, family festival will take place before and after the inauguration ceremony. It will feature live performances from local artists, the Nashville Public Library’s Puppet Truck, kids activities, participatory art, food trucks, and opportunities to learn about and engage with more than 30 Metro departments.
