Order 1 From the Chief Medical Director
Pursuant to the Declaration of Public Health Emergency adopted by the Board of Health for Nashville and Davidson County on March 15, 2020

Section 1
An individual, entity or organization having charge of a building or facility licensed to serve food or beverages whose primary business is alcohol service (a business where the gross revenue from the sale of prepared food is 50% or less than the gross revenue from the sale of alcoholic beverages as defined in TCA § 57-4-102(22)(A)(iii)) shall close for business until further notice.
Section 2
An individual, entity or organization whose primary business is food service (any food service establishment as defined in T.C.A. § 68-14-703(9)) except those subject to the provisions in Sections 1) shall limit capacity to half the capacity specified in the food service establishment permit issued by the Metro Public Health Department under the authority of the Tennessee Health Department, or a maximum capacity of 100, whichever is lower, and to space tables and seating arrangements accordingly. Distance between tables and patrons shall be maximized.
Section 3
For an individual, entity or organization whose primary business is food service (any food service establishment as defined in T.C.A. § 68-14-703(9)) that also has a permit from the Metro Public Health Department as an “auxiliary food service operation” as defined in TCA § 68-14-703(2), in addition to the satisfying the requirements set out in Section 2 herein, shall limit capacity for the bar area to ten percent of the capacity specified in the food service establishment permit issued by the Metro Public Health Department under the authority of the Tennessee Health Department, with no standing allowed in the bar area. Distance between patrons shall be maximized.
This Order shall be effective upon issuance.
