Chief Deputy Register of Deeds Attorney, Jack Brown, has been awarded $15,000 as the champion of the NFFC Online Auction. We are excited to share he was recently awarded an oversized check! From now on, we will affectionately call him Lucky Jack! We firmly believe that he is incredibly smart, as he has successfully won over many people across the country.
Jack, hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, triumphed in the 2024 NFFC Online Auction Championship, overcoming a record 816 teams to claim this fifth annual national title. In a remarkable turnaround, Jack surged from 49th to 1st place during the last two weeks of the competition. His team, the D-Plus 69ers, scored an impressive 213.05 points in Week 17, leaping from 10th to 1st place, ultimately winning by a narrow margin of just 2.26 points over Matt Strickler. Like many other 2024 NFFC national champions, Jack's victory hinged on the outcome of the Monday Night Game between the Lions and the Niners. Although he was in 2nd place overall, a late fourth-quarter 30-yard touchdown run by Jahmyr Gibbs turned the tide, propelling him from 7 points behind to 2 points ahead. That night, the D-Plus 69ers garnered 26.3 points from Gibbs and 24.5 points from Jameson Williams, securing the championship.
