Document Copies by Mail
In order to receive copies from our office by mail, you will need to send us a written request, along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and a check or money order to cover the cost of your copies.
On your written request please tell us the address of the property that you need the deed for. If you need a document other than a property deed, tell us as much information as you can, so that we can look up the document in our indexes.
You can always call the office first at 615-862-6790, and we will tell you the information that you need to include in your request.
Cost for Copies By Mail
- Non-certified copies are $0.50 per page.
- Certified copies are $1 per page.
- There is a $2 minimum charge for mailed copies.
- The charge to mail a copy of a subdivision plat is $5.
Document Copies In Person
In order to receive copies of recorded documents from our office in person, just come to the address below, and we will be glad to make your copies while you wait. If you need to make copies of several documents, we will show you how to use our public access computers to set up a print session,so that you can save your copies, send them to our Print Center, and pay to have them printed out there. We will give a brief tutorial on how to use the computers in our public access area, but some basic computer skills would be helpful.
Cost for Copies in Person
- Non-certified copies are $0.50 per page.
- Certified copies are $1 per page.
- We accept cash, checks, credit cards or money orders for payment.
- If you need a copy of a subdivision plat, the charge will be $3 for a large copy of the entire section of the subdivision.
