Note: In Tennessee, we register to vote by county.
If you move to Davidson County from another county or state, you must submit a new Voter Registration Application to our office. It’s easy to apply online at ovr.govote.tn.gov or go to Register to Vote for guidance and an application.
If you move within Davidson County, you need to change your address.
Option 1
Submit your change of address online at ovr.govote.tn.gov
Option 2
Complete a Change of Address Request, sign and email form to [email protected] or mail to P.O. Box 650 Nashville, TN 37202.
Option 3
Mail your current voter registration card with your new address and signature to P.O. Box 650 Nashville, TN 37202.

Your address change request must be signed and received by our office no later than five (5) days before an election in order to process the change.
