Fiserv, Asurion, LLC and the State of Tennessee will be featured in the next Nashville Works! Virtual Job Fair Series hosted by the Office of Mayor John Cooper and the Metropolitan Action Commission on Thursday, October 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Fiserv, who specializes in manufacturing magnetic strips and other technology for bank credit and debit cards along with one of Nashville’s largest IT employer, Asurion, are the newest partners featured in the Nashville Works! Job Fair Series.
“Bridging the talent gap in some industries sometimes requires a deeper look. Our partners are engaging potential employees with experience with technology as well as retraining career opportunities for non-tech talent at our next virtual job fair. We are excited about providing this opportunity,” said Tanya Evrenson, Director of Workforce of the Metropolitan Action Commission.
The State of Tennessee, which is a returning partner will feature IT positions as well as other positions throughout the state. The State of Tennessee recently transitioned to a new career portal. Potential applicants will have an opportunity to receive instruction on how to register in the new system.
Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, the internet video communications application. To register, applicants should visit Goodwill Virtual Job Fair Portal.
Jobseekers can participate from their home computers or using computers at Goodwill Career Solutions Centers at 937 Herman St., Nashville or the career solution locations in Mt. Juliet or Murfreesboro.
