The Metropolitan Action Commission’s HOPE team will be at the Madison Regional Community Center (550 North Dupont Avenue) on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to assist with online applications for rental assistance.
The event will provide in-person support to help renters apply for assistance through the online HOPE portal. The team will also be present to upload documents from applicants who need to finish existing applications or have questions about the process.
Applicants who are just starting the application should bring their state issued picture ID, proof of income, most recent lease agreement and any late notice they have received from their landlord.
The agency’s HOPE program is an opportunity for Davidson County residents impacted by COVID to catch up on past due rental payments. The program is funded by a grant received by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
