All phone lines for the Metropolitan Action Commission are now fully operational.
Customers may resume using the main phone line (615-862-8860) to contact the agency. Internet service is still operational, therefore communication by e-mail at [email protected] is still available for requests for information and other agency related matters.
Following the bombing in Nashville on Christmas morning, the city experienced widespread issues, one of which was interruption of phone service for some businesses. The agency could not accept incoming or make outgoing calls. The agency set up two temporary numbers so that customers would have a way to reach the agency until full phone service was restored.
Our office continues to operate during its normal business hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Metro Action is located at 800 2nd Avenue North. Applications for assistance and information about our programs are accessible on the agency’s web page (www.nashville.gov/mac.)
Metro Action is in the midst of a heightened need for assistance with services such as rent, mortgage and utility assistance and processing the requests as quickly as possible. For more information about assistance residents should contact the agency.
