Hurricane Francine is expected to bring heavy rain and possible severe weather to Metro Nashville Davidson County beginning Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service (NWS) put parts of Middle Tennessee under a Marginal Risk for Severe Weather Thursday Evening into Friday Morning.
A Marginal Risk is an area of severe storms of either limited organization and longevity, or very low coverage and marginal intensity.
Everyone should prepare for heavy rainfall and possibly strong winds expected over the coming days due to the remnants of Hurricane Francine.
You should secure loose outdoor items, check drainage systems, and stay informed through official channels. Stay indoors during severe weather and avoid flooded areas.
