The Davidson County Election Commission will extend voting hours for the March 3, 2020 Presidential Preference and County Primary Election to 10 p.m. CST at its two Mega Sites and three Super Sites. All other precincts will remain open until 8 p.m. CST. (See info below.)
“We agree with the order from the Davidson County Chancery Court to extend our hours on this difficult and tragic day for so many of our friends and neighbors,” said Jeff Roberts, administrator of elections. “This order balances our concerns for the safety and security of both our Poll Officials and Davidson County voters.”

The Davidson County Election Commission has doubled the number of voting machines at the Super Sites in order to accommodate redirected voters. The addition of the voting machines should shorten wait times.
All other polling locations will remain open until 8 p.m. CST. This includes three changes due to the storm’s impact:
- Haynes Middle School should vote at Whites Creek Fire Station 25
- Looby Community Center should vote at Northwest YMCA
- Lead Brick Church Middle School should vote at Bellshire Elementary School

My polling location is closed, what do I do?
All polling locations closed due to the storm have been redirected to a Super Site. A Super Site is a location where voters assigned to a closed polling place are being redirected to vote.
Can I vote at any polling place I see?
No. Anybody can vote at a Mega Site ONLY. The Mega Sites are Davidson County Election Commission Main Office, 1417 Murfreesboro Pike, and Davidson County Election Commission Satellite Office, Metro Office Building, 800 Second Avenue South, 4th Floor.
What if I have not been impacted by the storm. Where do I vote?
Vote at your usual, assigned polling location.
By late afternoon, 12,650 Davidson County residents had voted at the top 35 precincts.
