NFD free App also includes tools to locate fire stations, pay EMS bills and request fire reports from their smartphones
The Nashville Fire Department has new COVID-19 alerts from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that offers real time information about the COVID-19 Pandemic.
There is also a new COVID-19 icon on the app that allows for more information about Frequently Asked Questions, CDC Travel Notices and a COVID-19 Newsletter.
The NFD App is free and available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The Nashville Fire Department app was developed by TheFireDepartmentApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC. The app offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use. In just a few clicks, users can:
- Find station locations
- View current weather conditions and weather forecast
- Connect to the organization’s social media platforms
- Read the latest news
- Request Fire Reports
- Pay EMS Bills
The Nashville Fire Department app is available for download for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Search “Nashville Fire” or download the Nashville Fire Department app.
If you already have the NFD App you will need to go into your setting section to turn on COVID-19 alerts to get push notifications.
However, these alerts are also visible at any time inside the COVID-19 feature on your app (look under COVID-19 Alerts).
Please note turnaround times for certain reports and requests will remain the same even when using the Nashville Fire Department App.
