Metro Park Police may determine that permit holders must hire Park Police officers or hire an approved security company to provide an action plan for the event no later 14 days before event. Event action plan must be preapproved by the Park Police or their designee. Park Police have the right to determine the suitability of any firm providing protection for an event on Parks property.

Site plan and scope of work for any temporary structures or fencing. Please note there is a no-staking policy for this site and all Metro Parks. The only tents permitted in parks venues are tents that are secured with water ballast or tents that do not require staking. Location must be approved by the Metro Historical Commission.

Rules of Use

By making this application, I agree to the following:

No parking on the grass! We have many unmarked graves. Parking is provided in front of the information building and in front of the maintenance building. Cars may not park along roads as this blocks access of emergency vehicles in and through the site. The applicant agrees to be responsible for any damage to the cemetery caused by the negligence or carelessness of the group.
No commercial photography is allowed. Please feel free to make personal photographs, but no album covers, music videos, or filming.
No climbing on monuments.
No rubbings of monuments or dusting headstones with flour, as this can cause long-term damage.
No removing anything from the cemetery. If you find something interesting and/or out of place, please contact the metro historical commission at 615-862-7970, [email protected].
No loose or running animals, and please pick after pets up when required.
There is a no-staking policy.
The applicant will remove all trash and leave the site as found.
Please remember the nature of the site, and above all else, be respectful!

The discovery of false or misleading information regarding the applicant or the described event activities or attendance on this application will result in the rejection of approval of us and denial of future request to access the Nashville City Cemetery or other park properties.
