Jessica Reeves
Historic Preservationist 1Jessica Reeves joined the Metropolitan Historical Commission as a Historic Preservationist 1 in 2016. She administers the historical markers program, reviews Section 106 projects, and serves as a liaison to the MHCF project Nashville Sites, which provides free, self-guided, scholarly tours of Nashville’s history. Prior to joining the MHC, Jessica conducted fieldwork on the Trail of Tears in Middle Tennessee and served as a Collections Intern at Chief Plenty Coups State Park in southeastern Montana. She also previously served as a board member for the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County. Jessica holds a BS degree in Mass Communication and an MA in Public History/Cultural Resources Management, both from Middle Tennessee State University.
