Scarlett Miles joined the Metropolitan Historical Commission staff as a Historic Preservationist 1 in 2007. A Nashville native, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/Sociology from Rhodes College in Memphis and Master of Arts in Public History from Middle Tennessee State University. Prior to joining the Historical Commission staff, Scarlett worked in Birmingham and Nashville as a children’s services case manager.
