Nashville native Bryan Gilley joined the Metropolitan Historical Commission in October 2023 as the Nashville City Cemetery Site Manager. Previously he worked for the Andrew Jackson Foundation where he served in various roles at The Hermitage. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, and History from Middle Tennessee State University, where he is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Public History. As the Nashville City Cemetery Site Manager Bryan also represents the Historical Commission as an ex officio member of the Nashville City Cemetery Association.
