Gun Lock Distribution
The Metro Public Health Department is distributing gun locks to the community. They are available at our Lentz, East, Woodbine and South Nutrition Center locations. Organizations who are interested in distributing gun locks are encouraged to contact the department for a supply.
Drug Overdose Response
The Opioid/Overdose Response and Reduction Program continues to work to prevent and control the impact of the local drug overdose epidemic. We provide information on available resources, prevention, naloxone (Narcan), syringe services program, SPIKE Auto Text Program, data reports, and public health advisories.
