Fleet Management Service Division

The Office of Fleet Management Garage Operations maintains ASE Blue Seal Recognition.

Garage Operations are made up of the:

• Light Vehicle Shop: 615-862-5100
  (for light vehicles including sedans, vans, and light trucks)
• Heavy Equipment Shop: 615-862-8690
  (for heavy vehicles and off-road equipment including sanitation vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, loaders, trailers, backhoes, and heavy-duty trucks — one-ton and larger with dual wheel rear axles)
• Grounds Equipment Shop
  (for off-road equipment including mowers and carts)

These shops provide for the maintenance and repair of Metro fleet vehicles and equipment. Services include preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire servicing, and vehicle inspections, as well as in-house and road repair services.

In addition to these mechanic and technician services, our Garage Operations also include a Roadside Assistance program and Parts Stores operations. We also manage preventive maintenance service appointment system so that employees a can more efficiently schedule their workday.
