The Metro Public Health Department is working with the Tennessee Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in response to severe lung disease associated with the use of electronic cigarette products. Metro Public Health Department is following direction from the Tennessee Department of Health to monitor and investigate severe lung disease, like those occurring nationwide. Each Thursday we will post an update on the total and new number of vaping associated illnesses and deaths in Nashville/Davidson County.
