The Community Engagement Committee ensured that the process reached as many local citizens as possible. They served as guardians of the engagement process and made sure that the NashvilleNext team met goals reached as many people. The committee regularly updated the Steering Committee. Most importantly, they worked diligently to involve groups which previously have been under-represented in civic processes, such as minorities, youth, and seniors, and build deeper connections with communities.
